Lady G Tha Poet

Nikita Purdy aka Cetiva Green aka the indomitable LADY G, has been performing spoken word ALL over Jacksonville since 2003. She has performed on legendary stages like The Ritz Theater & Museum, The Cypher Open Mic Poetry & Soul and so much more. She has also facilitated creative writing workshops across Jacksonville, FL at Florida State College of Jacksonville, and The Bridge of Northeast Florida. Part of the award-winning international poetry group Black on Black Rhyme and ThinkWrite Poets, Lady G's words are delivered off the tip of a passionate tongue, forged from experience and resonating with the
wisdom of a conscious community. She will also represent the Duval Slam Team this year in Fayetteville, NC for the 27 th  Annual Southern Fried Poetry Slam. 
 

Lady G specializes in high-energy spoken word performance and is driven by the desire to get free! Lady G inhales oxygen like gasoline and if you look closely you can see the very moment she sparks and that combustible energy turns into dynamic flow.
